Sewage is the biggest problem in Ghana today, especially in camp. To avoid contamination of drinking water, this might be the best solution (see picture above). The system has been developed with Earth Ship Biotecture: tech. man: Amzi Smith, and arch. Michael Reynolds, who use similar systems in their buildings.
This provides the ability to grow food while solves sewage problems.
Tubes can blil replaced with bamboo and the walls of the tank can be built of adobe, but then the plastic is needed on the wall to prevent leakage.
